Georgia Shuler studied creative and business writing at Lansing Community College, Michigan State University, and Siena Heights University, and holds a BA in Communications. She met her husband in a non-fiction writing class when he gave her a particularly harsh critique. But they have since agreed to set aside the battle of the red pens and join forces. She served on the board for the Michigan Writing Centers Association and worked as a writing coach for Lansing Community College (LCC) Writing Center for over three years. Through LCC, she attended and presented at five regional writing conferences. Georgia has spent seven years working for the State of Michigan where she has been able to write and edit for their Community College, GED, Workforce Transformation, and Technology, Management, & Budget offices. In addition to CCWA, she is a member of Fiction 440 and SCBWI. Currently, she is querying her first YA, Sci-fi novel while fielding input from her new critique group—her three toddlers.
